Over view:
The Karangura Peak is 3,012m ABS with beautiful views at the summit. The hike to the summit leads uphill through rainforest and Past Mountain marshes. The area is rich in primates such as the black and white Colubus monkeys, blue monkey. From the summit there is a beautiful view of the Ruwenzori.
The hike takes 8-9 hours from kazingo village and ends in Nyabuswa village.
Our experienced Guides will tell you the history and life of the mountain people and interpret the attractions you are likely to encounter along the trek such as the black & white colubus monkey, birds, three horned chameleon etc.
Price is inclusive of park entry, community support fee, trek guide, activity fees ,packed Lunch and 1.5 litres of water only. You need to have packed lunch with you or you can make lunch arrangement with our office.
Not in price: Transport to the start point and transfer from the end point to fort portal and Tips.
