Start from kazingo End in bundibugyo town
The trek takes you through the bwamba pass to bundibugyo town. Before 1938 the pass was used by the bamba to link to fort portal for trade and other business. You will trek through this traditional bwamba pass to immerse yourself with the fascinating flora, fauna and views.
The trek stands between 1500m high-3000 m & leads you through the isolated bakonzo and bamba homes through the tropical rain forest and bamboo with superb rift valley views.
Our Guides will tell you the history and life of the mountain people as well interpret the attractions you are likely to encounter along the trek such as the black & white colubus monkeys, Angola colobus,birds like the rwenzori Turaco ,three horned chameleons etc
The trek takes 8 hours with stops and picnic lunch.
Your driver/ car will pick you from bundibugyo to your next destination. Or you may use public transport to bring you back to fort portal.
Price is inclusive of park entry, community support fee, trek guide, activity fees Packed Lunch and 1.5 liters of water only.
Not in price: Transport to the start point and transfer from Bundibugyo town to fort portal and Tips.
